How Does Cellfina Work?
In the procedure, Dr. Stutman first identifies the dimples to be targeted. Then the area of the skin is treated with a local anesthetic. Next, the Cellfina™ System uses a suction stabilizer to pull the skin taut and stretch the cellulite-causing connective bands. The Cellfina™ System uses a special instrument that then releases the bands. Once the connective bands are released the skin bounces back upwards, and because it is no longer tethered the dimpled areas will smooth.
